Politics is about governmental and social power and how decisions are made. We come into the political circle at the center and choose a direction of travel. We can decide to go left or right depending on whether we see power being better held collectively or individually. Then we can decide to go up or down. Anger, greed and frustration drive people down looking for someone to blame. Respect, gratitude and appreciation drive people up looking for ways to share and give back to the community or empower individuals. At the highest and lowest levels the left and right come together.
